Scratch was developed by MIT Media Lab, and allows even young children to build and code their own animated adventures. With visual coding, students can learn to bring creations to life, and then power them onward with imaginative storytelling.

All our Level 0 programs (age 6 to 8)  are completely play based and this is no exception. Kids feel like they are playing with characters, doing animations and creating game etc. but they are learning passively! They improve their problem solving skills and push their imagination and take their creativity to new heights.

We select the themes (Similar to a story) from a variety of fields exposing students to the large challenges humanity is facing and trigger their thinking and problem solving skills. We want to plant the seeds to trigger their search for answers. They do simple programs and animations trying to solve big problems. Stories with positive messages and lessons will be used to encourage students to think about the larger problems prevalent in the world, and help them think bigger to solve such problems.

By the end of the course, students will have gained knowledge in writing long codes in a block-based program (Scratch) and have enhanced their problem-solving skills and creativity. And hopefully some of them are determined to solve some greater challenges our humanity is facing!

Please see the pictures and videos in our gallery to get an insight on the classes.
