Micro: bit Electronics and Breadboarding
This fun and hands-on short term course is the perfect introduction to the world of electronics and coding for kids aged 8 to 12. Using the Micro:bit mini-computer and real electronic parts like lights, buzzers, and sensors, students will learn how to build simple circuits and bring them to life with code. This will kickstart their interest in electronics, robotics & programming! We use Google BBC Micro:bit. The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer with several built-in sensors and input/output features. They can program in block code or python whichever they are comfortable. Students can buy own micro:bit for ~$50 from external sources after the course to continue learning electronics & programming.
