Spring Camps – Cloverdale Robotics Centre – L0 Morning Robotics

Welcome to Cloverdale Robotics Day Camps for Elementary Students (L0 – Ages 6 to 9).

Have fun catching up with the Robots and Coding! The morning sessions are for Robotics only and afternoons are for trying out the latest from various techs, like coding /Digital Arts/Minecraft Game design/Virtual Reality/Electronics (No Robotics).

In the morning session, (4 hrs) students initially get an introduction to Robotics. Then they get practice time with robots if they are already in our robotics programs or other robotics programs. Get more exposure to the subjects, work with students of various backgrounds and expand their horizons. Students with some coding background can also join.

Each day has different activities, robots etc. So can join multiple days without repetition of activities.

Through a play/story based approach students will get an introduction to robotics.  New students learn the basics of robots and current students get more practice time with robots.
In the camps, students are divided into groups of two based on their expertise level (new or already part of programs, etc.). They get to build/program and play with robots with different themes each day. Each day has a different theme and robots. Students continue their passive learning on robotics. Examples of activities include programming robots to navigate mazes, play tag with robots, build robots with snap-on kits, race robots by programming them with a drag and drop interface. Groups partake in unique activities depending on skill level and each day will be unique in content.
