Morning sessions (9:00 am to 12:00 pm):Coding with Scratch and Artificial Intelligence : It is estimated that 65% of children today will pursue careers that don’t even exist yet and AI will be the front and center of those careers. Give them a head start! Kids use drag and drop blocks to do projects like facial recognition, human mood detection, celebrity detection, etc. which regular coding cannot achieve in any reasonable way. Overall, the course gives students a good AI primer and lead them to a path of self-learning AI. Student’s code and manage these projects with support from mentor instructors. Students take away not only the knowledge gained but also ways to keep themselves updated on this fast-paced area of technology and continue their journey. Whether the student is a beginner or experienced in programming, this camp with give them an edge by using the power of AI to to achieve a lot more with their code than regular coding. Afternoon sessions (1 PM to 4:00PM) : Building Camp : Electronics Projects, Robots : Campers will hone their engineering skills by building and designing their own robots and program them. Students assemble kits (mostly microbit based) to create robots and other electronic projects. We provide the kits and all equipment necessary. Robots can not be taken home but kids can take pictures of their creations.
Full Day Sessions (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) include both morning and afternoon sessions and include the lunch break time. During lunch break kids do non-screen based activities like playing Jenga, uno etc. Lunch is not provided (Full day students must bring their own lunch).
